ACARA, The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority is the independent statutory authority responsible for the development of a national curriculum amongst other things. They engaged Studio7 to help them increase the engagement rate across all their videos with the main objective of effectively communicating information on their work, particularly on new product releases such as the review of the Australian Curriculum.
Studio7 worked on a more dynamic format for the videos, while sticking to their brand guidelines, addings animations, graphs and a modern editing process. We also worked with them in the scripts to make sure the new videos would be more eye-catching.
ACARA reported that across all their social platforms, they were able to more than triple engagement rates. Success rate is measured by minutes watched, shares, comments and overall verbal and anecdotal feedback. Their stakeholders also loved the new format and it helped them to better reach parents and students, groups who we would like to hear from more.
